Invoking Edward Muybridge’s famous studies of human and animal movement, the installation compares the smooth, seemingly natural, spontaneous movements of children at play with the abrupt, mechanized actions of robots. This piece was originally installed at the Guardshack, Bergamot Station, Santa Monica.
